Classification of Steel Structure Canopies

The main framework of a steel structure canopy is composed of steel. Based on the materials used, steel canopies can be broadly categorized into the following types:
Steel-and-Glass Canopies:
These use tempered or laminated glass.
Structural types include bracket-supported canopies and point-supported canopies.
Known for their aesthetic appeal, they are commonly used in hotels and shopping malls.
Steel-and-Aluminum Panel Canopies:
Offer corrosion resistance, high durability, and cost-effectiveness.
Ideal for large-area applications such as high-speed railway stations and large parking lots.
Steel-and-PC Panel Canopies:
Include polycarbonate (PC) solid panels (known as "durability panels") and hollow "sunlight panels."
Durability panels: Impact-resistant with good light transmittance.
Sunlight panels: Lightweight, low-cost, and easy to transport/install, suitable for steel greenhouses and vegetable greenhouses.
Steel-Membrane Structure Canopies:
Typically use PVC membrane materials, available in diverse colors, styles, and shapes.
Widely applied in commercial facilities (e.g., stadiums), sports facilities, and transportation infrastructure.
