Acceptance Criteria for Steel Structure Buildings

The acceptance of steel structure facilities is a crucial topic. Beyond visual inspection, there are several key points that should be understood.
(1) Guaranteed Items: Guaranteed items are critical inspection points that ensure the engineering or functional performance of the project. Regardless of whether the quality rating is qualified or excellent, all specified requirements must be met. GB5021-95 clearly stipulates the content of guaranteed items for different sub-projects. These items must be met without distinction between "excellent" and "qualified".
(2) Basic Items: Basic items are fundamental inspection points that ensure the engineering or functional performance of the project. They are graded as either "qualified" or "excellent" and serve as one of the conditions for assessing the quality grade of sub-projects.
(3) Allowable Deviation Items: Allowable deviation items refer to those with specified ranges of acceptable deviation in the actual measurement inspection of sub-projects. During inspection and evaluation, a small number of inspected points may have measurement values slightly exceeding the allowable deviation range.
(4) Aesthetic Quality Scoring: Aesthetic quality is evaluated by more than three people jointly. The inspection items and standards for steel structure fabrication and installation are outlined in the following table. During the aesthetic quality evaluation, 10 points are randomly selected for each item for assessment, and grading is based on the pass rate, with criteria detailed in the Aesthetic Quality Evaluation Standards table.
